Last week, ENCIRCLE took part in the EFFRA Manufacturing Partnership Days 2025 in Brussels, a major exhibition organised under the Made in Europe Partnership.
The event, held on 20–22 October 2025, gathered European projects, research organisations and industrial stakeholders who are shaping the future of manufacturing through innovation, sustainability, and collaboration.
The exhibition provided a unique space to present ENCIRCLE’s vision for enabling circular value chains and accelerating the transition to sustainable manufacturing. The project was represented by Nikolaos Dimitriou (CERTH), who gave a presentation highlighting ENCIRCLE’s integrated approach — combining Digital Twins, AI-driven decision support, Life Cycle Assessment, and Human-in-the-Loop methodologies to empower industries in their digital and green transformation.
Throughout the three-day event, ENCIRCLE engaged with a wide range of participants from research, industry, and policy-making, exchanging insights on circular economy practices, data-driven sustainability, and collaborative innovation.
Several sister projects from the EU Circularity Cluster were also present, including CIRCMAN5.0 (presentation by Angeliki Zacharaki) and CIR4FUN (presentation by Alexandros Nizamis), reinforcing synergies and common goals across Horizon Europe initiatives.
Participation in the event significantly enhanced the project’s visibility within the European manufacturing community and demonstrated ENCIRCLE’s contribution to the shared goal of creating a more resilient, sustainable and circular industrial ecosystem.

The Manufacturing Partnership Days are organised by EFFRA (European Factories of the Future Research Association) in collaboration with the European Commission, as part of the Made in Europe Partnership.
This annual exhibition highlights the achievements of ongoing EU-funded projects and fosters networking among stakeholders driving Europe’s industrial innovation and twin transition.
